To conclude, travelling may not only be for vacation. As I speak, my wife had to spend the whole day to travel out of state to go get her sister and take her to the passport office to renew her travel documents because her husband lost his mother and they need to travel to Ghana next week to bury her.
Things would have been smoother if she had, done this renewal long ago because the Embassies can not guarantee a quick nor instant renewal.
These files are served on a first come first served basis,so make up your mind if you want to do these things at the last minute.

No related postsHolidays are popular in Cuba and Egypt!
August 30, 2009 on 10:43 am | In Travel Destinations | No CommentsThese two destinations couldn’t be much more different, but similar in their own way. Although these countries are very different, but they both hold something unique to each other in history terms. Cuba is the place of recent history, frozen in time. If you have a passion for ancient history, no place offers better features than Egypt. But of these two which is best for a holiday?
Cuba holidays have slowly come into the tourism light. They haven’t been sought after much before the year 2000, mainly because they were considered dangerous. Cuba is progressing very slowly in accordance with time, and is the most unique country, frozen in time. Although they have a powerful military control, the streets of Cuba are lined with very old and traditional houses; the roads are pebble stone or concrete. They are also the producers of the most expensive cigars in the world, all hand rolled. Some of the Cigar factories give people the chance to roll their own cigars. Cuba offers some truly great diving locations, covered in coral and very clear blue seas.
Egypt holidays have always been popular with many people. Now these holidays are getting cheaper as well. Egypt is the place to see the oldest civilization in the world. There are so many amazing wonders to see in this country that you will never have enough time to see them all. The must is the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx; these are some of the most amazing sights anyone will ever be able to see. These huge and wonderful structures have been around for millennia. Cairo is a great place to be for all the hustle and bustle of all the people and markets, many people visit this place just for the crazy trading atmosphere. Egypt is home to the oldest civilization known to man, and a library that contains some of the oldest scripts in the world. Well there is a library here that is considered the place to hold some of the worlds most amazing ancient knowledge.
So there you go now you have two very exciting places to consider for your next holiday, I would recommend either one of them, but for weddings abroad it has to be Cuba.

No related postsCuba holidays a great experience for anyone who wants to travel through time!
August 29, 2009 on 5:40 pm | In Travel Destinations | No CommentsOne place in this world that you must visit before it’s too late is Cuba. If you compare this to any other country in the world, you will be hard pressed to find another like it. Cuba is a country that has been stuck in time, the advancements in the streets are slow, and in some cases stopped.
Cuba is stuck in the late 60’s, early 70’s. The oldest of the cars on this island are still being used today as well. Although Cuba is a very secretive and controlled country, tourism has started to really boom. Cuba holidays offer many people all kinds of activities and new experiences. The bars and restaurants are unique and very friendly, and the flamenco dancing is original and good fun. Cuba is a place to go back in time and visit the world of yesterday. If you are interested in any sort of art or diverse cultures, then you will find utter bliss here. There is a massive amount for any tourist to do.
Now for the holiday maker who likes a bit of sea sun and sand, well you have come to the right place. Cuba is guaranteed to give you all of this. You can see that some of the beaches are amazing, and the hotels keep them clean. All you need to do is book yourself a stay in one of the hotels and they will supply you with a massive beach, barely populated as well. The rooms in any of the hotels are of top notch quality. You can find the rooms are well kept, the service is very good and the staff are lovely. I think a lot of people get the impression that Cuba is a volatile place; the simple truth is that because we don’t have much press coverage in over here, we are drawn into thinking of it in certain ways.
If you are considering a holiday this year then give Cuba a go, the only other holidays I would recommend are Egypt holidays, this is because they still maintain a very powerful and interesting history.

No related postsExperience Lanzarote This Summer – The Cool Canary Island
August 28, 2009 on 7:35 am | In Travel Destinations | No CommentsIt may lie just seventy miles off the coast of West Africa. But the small Canary Island of Lanzarote is Spanish owned. And has long been a hot favourite with British and Irish tourists – who accounted for over one million visitors last year, attracted by a delightful year round climate, good quality holiday accommodation and the island´s unique volcanic scenery.
There is a wide choice of Lanzarote apartments but if you prefer a more luxurious holiday then you can grab yourself a bargain Lanzarote holiday villa this summer as lower than expected visitor number means there are some good deals to be had.
Lanzarote is just four hours flying time from the UK – making it the closest winter sun destination to Britain and Eire. And is serviced by numerous low cost flight operators, such as Monarch, easy Jet and Thomas Cook. Making it possible to book flights to Lanzarote from around £200 per person – depending of course on the time of year.
Despite the number of tourists visiting the island there is only one international airport on Lanzarote – and it´s named after the nearby island capital of Arrecife. Although locals refer to it as Gaucimeta. Thanks to its central location and the small size of the island transfer times to the three main resorts are very quick. Averaging out at only twenty minutes.
The bulk of visitors to the island arrive on package holidays so will find themselves travelling to their resort on coaches organised by their tour operator. But for the growing band of independent travellers there is no shuttle bus service to the resorts. Which means they need to rely on either taxis – which are available just outside the main arrivals terminal. Or hire cars – which are also readily available at the airport.
Hiring a car in Lanzarote is surprisingly cheap in relation to many other holiday destinations around the world. As it is possible to rent a basic class C vehicle for as little as €20 per day. Whilst petrol is also much more affordable than in the UK or the Republic of Ireland.
Around 40% of all visitors book hotels in Lanzarote. Which are of a high standard, particularly in the island’s newest resort of Playa Blanca in the south of the island. Where all establishments built over the last ten years are of a four star standard and above.
Whilst Puerto del Carmen is the spot to head for for those planning to book apartments in Lanzarote. As the islands oldest resort has the highest concentration of apartment complexes of any destination on the island.
The island is also blessed with a raw volcanic scenery and plenty of natural beauty. Making it an ideal holiday location for sightseeing. Elements of the landscape have been united with the artistic aesthetic of the island born artist Cesar Manrique. Who created a series of seven unique tourist attractions during the 1970´s – such as the Cactus Garden and the Jameos del Agua - which still delight tourists to this day.

No related postsCaribe Cove Resort the Ultimate Vacation Location!
August 23, 2009 on 9:04 am | In Travel Destinations | No CommentsFlorida is home to numerous resorts and vacation villas and finding the best place to stay can be very time consuming given the sheer volume you have to look through. To see if you’ll get value for your money, Trip Advisor is a great place to look, because there are many independent traveller reviews and photos there.
One secret little gem that has been quietly rising through the ranks since it’s opening at the end of 2007 is the Caribe Cove Resort, Orlando. Caribe Cove is a luxurios and upmarket resort situated in the lush landscape of Orlando. You can find the resort close to Disney parks and all of their bustle but it is in a quiet area where you can find lakes and wetlands to calm everyone after a long day. It is a gated resort with 24 hour manned security and is made up of 187 absolutely stunning two and three bedroom condos with are spread across five 5-storey buildings.
Amongst the amenities to be found at Caribe Cove are a lovely heated infinity pool, 24 hour fitness center, sauna, steam room, and a large decked area with hot tub. {There are also in-room massages and beauty treatments available and the resort can provide baby-sitting services and transport to the theme parks at extra cost.} Having access to a rental car would be best when staying at this particular resort.
I could say the Caribe Cove Resort is a home from home, but the chances are you won’t want to go home once you’ve experienced it. Once you have made a decision to visit Florida you need to check the Caribe Cove Resort out before it becomes so well known that you won’t be able to get in. Since it’s still so new, they are offering good deals, especially for those who make reservations with the owners directly. Grand opening deals don’t last forever, though.
