private jet?

My husband and I just bought a private jet. We have insurance and everything, ya. We are flying to the bahamas tomorrow. Is it basically like riding first class? Or is it smoother?

You would have had a demo flight. Apparently, you’re not flying it yourselves, or you’d already know what it’s like. Guess you’re not fractional, b/c insurance would not be separately allocated. So I doubt the veracity of your post. ( I suppose it’s possible that your husband took care of all the details and that you did not participate at all in the purchase. Then again, most people who buy a jet have already flown in one, as charter customers, through friends, through a demo, etc.)
Is it a managed aircraft? Is it on someone’s 135 certificate? Private jets, especially newer ones, are superior in every way to airline travel. (Older ones can be, too, if well-maintained, well-equipped, and refurbished as needed.) To compare it to “first class” airline travel would be to insult private jets. I might add that actually piloting the jet adds considerably to the enjoyment. Sitting in the cabin is very cool, too.

Or better is to rent or lease it for short period of time.
